Nurse practitioners and physician assistants involved in the management of patients with GI disorders and chronic liver disease.
Goal Statement
The primary goal of the educational activity is to encourage the application of the latest advances in evidence-based medicine to improve the quality of care and improve outcomes for the patients affected by thrombocytopenia.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Describe trends in the prevalence of celiac disease, associated disorders, and the burden it places on patients
Describe current approaches for diagnosing celiac disease and incorporate them into clinical practice
