Dr. Patel has been involved in clinical research throughout his training, leading to both publications and presentations at several national meetings. Dr. Patel's clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic and biliary disorders, gastrointestinal cancers, GERD, Barrett's esophagus as well as irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Patel's top priority and personal goal is to provide the highest level of care that is up-to-date and evidence-based for every patient. He emphasizes patient education and values establishing a long-lasting partnership with patients, based on respect, trust, and open communication.
